When I first became pregnant with Lilah, a huge part of me had my fingers crossed for a boy. I wanted a tough little guy that shot ducks, played football, and looked like Andy. Heck, I wanted two of them. But thank the good Lord who knew what he was doing when he blessed me with daughters!
We needed pink, ponytails, and princess slippers that go click, click, click down the hall. I love the baby dolls and how excited Lilah gets when we go down the shoe aisle. Anytime I get dressed up she eye’s my outfit and tells me, “Ma•Ma that’s cute!” #meltmyheart #theyareadream
I’m so lucky to call these two mine and now I see why God knew I needed daughters vs sons. I’m not quite sure I was cut out for the rambunctious, balls to the wall, tiny humans. I can deal with the whiny sensitive ones a little better! Hah! Moms with boys, YOU are a special kind of person to raise them and I know you couldn’t picture it any other way either.
